![]() In these two sceneries FPS went from 67 -> 92 and from 46 -> 54 respectively. Obviously the ENB versions are brighter but that can't be the only difference. Update: For comparison, here are screenshots of Riverwood/Whiterun with a) ENB activated but all [EFFECT options turned off and b) ENB deactivated. PS: If I understand things correctly SMAA is deactivated (I'm missing the lines listed here). What are the (non-effect) things that cause the initial 25% drop? What are the options I should play around with? Any ideas would be appreciated, I'm trying to squeeze the maximum out of this and a better understanding of what these things actually do would help a lot. With all Effects turned on it drops down to 25ish, just turning off Reflections brings it back to a constant ~35 which is fine by me. Without an ENB the game ran at ~80 FPS in Riverwood, I then proceeded to install Project ENB and with all options turned off my FPS already drops to 60. I pretty much have everything STEP related installed. I'm trying to run Skyrim at 2560x1600 on my i7 with a 770GTX and I'm confused about what most of the options for an ENB actually do performance wise and which of them deserve a closer look.
